House rules
NO PARTIES
Parties of any kind are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. You will be charged $500 per person, per day/night for each unregistered guest
QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours between 10pm - 7am. After 10pm the noise level outside has to be kept to a minimum or you can incur fines for not following the city wide ordinance
BBQ USAGE
If you use the BBQ, you must turn off the propane gas, cover the BBQ (with the provided cover), and wash all BBQ utensils when you are done using it. Failure to turn off BBQ propane will result in forfeiture of full security deposit as this is a huge fire hazard
FIREPLACE USAGE
The fireplace is operated by natural gas and can be ignited using a long gas lighter.

Please turn it off when not in use
REMOVAL OF TRASH
All guests are required to bag up all trash & disposed of at the following
CLEAN BEAR location: 38550 Holcomb Valley Road. Do not place trash bags or other uncontained trash anywhere on the property.
For trash that is left behind at the cabin or outside of the cabin, we will charge an additional $25 per bag (what our cleaner charges us)
PARKING
Up to 2 vehicles can park on the driveway. Please park your cars appropriately, do not block snowplows or park anywhere on the street, fines for blocking street during snow conditions is $150+ or possibility of being towed
OPEN FIRE
Open fires are illegal & prohibited in the big bear valley
CHAIN REQUIREMENTS
Chain requirements may be in effect during the Winter months. All guests booking a stay between November-May should anticipate the possibility of tire cables/chains being required to travel to Big Bear. It is the guest's responsibility to check road conditions and the weather forecast before driving up the mountain
SECURITY CAMERAS
For safety, the cabin is equipped with active exterior cameras monitoring front of the cabin/driveway, and backyard. These cameras are operational 24/7.

HOT TUB RULES:

The hot tub is available to use during the hours of 7:00 am - 10:00 pm.

We provide blue stripped towels located in the downstairs bathroom to use for the hot tub, please do not use the white towels

When not in use, set the hot tub temperature between 100-104 degrees and put the cover on (DO NOT Completely Turn Off)

The hot tub is chemically serviced and cleaned regularly and has been properly cleaned in advance of your arrival. However, we sometimes experience winds that can cause debris from surrounding trees and other materials to fall into the hot tub. Please advise us if the hot tub is not clean, and we will make every effort to contact a spa cleaner, but please understand that WE CANNOT GUARANTEE that the spa cleaner will be able to return to the property.

NO glass containers may be used near the hot tub.

NO liquids, soaps, bath bombs, bubble baths, or additives of any kind are allowed in the hot tub.

Guests will be charged a $150 fee if any of the aforementioned is discovered

Please rinse off before entering the hot tub. Excess sand/ dirt causes the spa to turn green. If excess sand/dirt are discovered guests will be charged a $150 service fee. In the event of any damages caused by tampering, the guest shall be responsible for the cost of said damages.
